Hi! We're a couple of friends who are travelling to the Philippines for a holiday in a few days. We're flying Manila-Puerto Princesa on July 30th. Unfortunately, it's the rainy season, but we can't make it any other time of the year. We'd like to visit El Nido, but, how would it be to go there from Puerto Princesa by bus? Some friends of mine spent a while there last year April-May and I've seen pictures of the road where they had to get off the bus because of the extremely bad conditions. It seemed too dangerous. Can you give me any information about travelling there and other points in the north at this time of the year? Thank you!

el nido is a tourist haven, but they charge 200 pesos environmental fee (both local and foreign), not a tourist friendly.
